The Problem
For those of us that have voluntarily been using Apple's Magic Mouse over the past 3 years know of its awesome capabilities but also it's ergonomical drawbacks.
The Magic Grip, a Magic Mouse attachment envisioned at the latest Startup Weekend Tulsa, will remedy the painful downsides to having a symmetrical and narrow mouse.
Tidbits
Over Startup Weekend I was able to rapidly create the initial prototype using my super duper 3D imaging and modeling techniques, having a 3D printer available may have helped as well…
After testing the prototype for a few days I noticed the shape was pushing my hand too far away from the touch surface, along with angling the mouse to the left. That Friday I began working on the next iteration. Which entailed pushing up the back arch support to the top of the mouse and to the right. (on the left handed version it will be on the left)
I hope to have the second iteration printed and tested within two weeks.
